SALES CONSULTANT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Consultant to join our trusted, well established and forward thinking company. You will be confident and flexible in your approach, able to work under your own initiative whilst ensuring you’re working within the parameters of our company values and ethos. You will need to be efficient and highly organised with good, demonstrable grammatical skills.

You will be joining a buoyant, proactive team who are truly passionate about what they do.

What is in it for me?

  • Full time, permanent position
  • Monday – Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm, one in three Saturdays 9.00am – 12.00pm.
  • Competitive salary (£24k – £27k) – dependant upon experience.
  • Quarterly Team Bonus
  • Ongoing training to achieve a qualification in Estate Agency
  • The opportunity to work with driven colleagues, all aiming for the same outcome – to meet targets and provide an excellent service

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property sellers and potential buyers.
  • Provide regular updates to clients about the status of their property listings and feedback from viewings.
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings, showcasing the property’s features and benefits to potential buyers.
  • Answer any questions prospective buyers may have about the property and surrounding area.
  • Receive and assess offers from potential buyers.
  • Negotiate the best possible price and terms on behalf of the seller.
  • Advise sellers on the merits of different offers and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Liaise with solicitors, surveyors, and mortgage brokers to ensure a smooth transaction process.
  • Keep both buyers and sellers informed about the progress of the sale and any potential issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with local and national property market trends.
  • Provide clients with insights and advice based on current market conditions.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary paperwork related to property sales.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the sales process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and to secure future business or referrals.
  • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets set by the agency.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to generate new business through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Attend training sessions and stay informed about industry best practices.
  • Pursue relevant qualifications and accreditations to enhance professional skills and credibility.

  • Follow up viewings and feedback to landlords
  • Ensure all details are up to date for vacant properties
  • Deal with all incoming communications effectively (internal and external)
  • Deal with customer enquiries effectively
  • Ensure focus on own development
  • Resolve complaints within own authority level
  • Escalate queries outside of own authority level
  • Maintain compliance with industry and internal regulations
  • Attention to all Health & Safety issues, including hazard and accident reporting
  • Set up tenancy files in accordance with our procedures and processes
  • Process tenancy files in accordance with our procedures and processes
  • Preparation of all legal documents including Tenancy Agreements
  • Manage diary appointments efficiently
  • Arrange access to properties as required
  • Complete internal checklists accurately and fully
