January - March
At the beginning of 2025, the year kicked off with uncertainty. The Renters Rights Act dominated conversations, bringing new rules, new responsibilities, and plenty of headlines.
But you, yes you, responded with level-headed calm as those wonderful helpers at Cope & Co. offered guidance and information for the journey ahead.
While the world was shivering, you were warming up to change. Santa saw you reading blogs, watching videos, attending webinars, and staying ahead. Gold stars all round!
April - June
By spring, more of the new legislation began landing; tenancy reform, notice changes, updated safety expectations, and both Cope & Co. and you, the local landlords of Derbyshire, faced the challenge head-on.
Instead of doom and gloom, we decided on clarity.

We even embraced a bit more digital wizardry than we planned back in January.

With changes to tax rates, and a few other unwelcome surprises, Santa knows it felt like someone had slipped coal into the stocking a little early! I even had to add a few government officials to the Naughty List.
