We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Property & Tenancy Manager to join the team at Cope & Co.
Based in our Derby Head Office, this is a key role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and making sure everything behind the scenes runs as smoothly as possible. You’ll be working across our property portfolio, supporting tenants and landlords, coordinating contractors and helping us maintain the high standard of service our clients expect.
We’re looking for someone organised, personable, practical and confident in a busy property environment. Someone who can solve problems, communicate clearly and keep things moving.

Property & Tenancy Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property & Tenancy Manager to join our trusted, well established and forward thinking company. As the ideal candidate you will be confident and flexible in your approach, able to work under your own initiative whilst ensuring you’re working within the parameters of our company values and ethos. You will need to be efficient and highly organised with good, demonstrable grammatical skills.

Key Responsibilities
· Ensure that property maintenance issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
· Answer all incoming communications (internal and external) efficiently and effectively
· Ensure there is a focus on your own development
· Resolve complaints within own authority level and escalate queries outside of own authority level
· Attention to all Heath & Safety issues, including hazard and accident reporting
· Ensure compliance with all current legislation
· Provide effective solutions to Landlords and Tenants
· Maintain positive business relationships with Contractors
· Release keys and monitor whereabouts as necessary
· Understand the eviction process and notices required to be given to tenants
· Monitor accuracy of invoices and quotes
· Process contractor quotations as necessary
· Diagnose maintenance issues as required through internal systems
· Conduct interim property inspections and final check out inspections
· Understand and report any issues with current legislation

· At least 1 Year industry experience is required

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm, one in three Saturdays 9:00am - 12:00pm.
